This is an exciting year for Hong Kong. We are proud and privileged to be a co-host city for the Beijing Olympics. I am confident that the Equestrian Events in Hong Kong will help to ensure a truly memorable Summer Games.

I encourage everyone to join us in celebrating the spirit of the Olympics and to help make the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games the best ever.

Hong Kong has taken up the challenge of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events with its usual gusto, determination and commitment to quality.

We are working hard to ensure the venues for the Dressage, Jumping and Eventing Competitions are in the best possible shape for the Summer Games. We have an unswerving commitment to provide the best possible service to athletes, team officials and visitors, and to provide world-class equine care for the magnificent competition horses.

All of us in Hong Kong look forward to welcoming competitors and guests from around the world for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the ranks of Olympic co-host cities.

Hong Kong is riding high with Olympic Spirit in 2008!
