| National Olympic Committee (NOC) is a national organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for organizing the country's participation in the Olympic Games. The mission of NOCs is to develop, promote and protect the Olympic Movement in the respective countries in accordance with the Olympic Charter. NOCs are committed to the development of athletes, selecting and sending of teams for participation in the Olympic Games.
